5 Ideas To Reuse Plastic Bottles

Plastic or PET bottles are the cause of a large part of environmental pollution. Despite being able to be recycled and reused, many end up in rivers and oceans, with serious consequences for flora and fauna.

1. Bird feeders

A great way to reuse plastic bottles and help wildlife. Fill a bottle with millet or barley seeds, and the birds will come over to eat.

Grab a bottle and make it two holes at the top, big enough to fit a spoon. Do the same at the bottom, as in the image. To hang it, make a small hole in the cap, and tie a thread or thin rope to the other side.

2. Purses for home

Fun, easy to do and very practical. Do you want to have your keys, your buttons, the medicines of the day in the same place? Then nothing so practical and ecological than these coin purse bottles .

Use the bottom of two bottles, it is best if they are the same way so that they fit well. To sew the zipper, use a thick needle. You can also use a high-strength glue to glue the zippers on the inside.

3. Pots for your home

The bottles, or carafes, with handles can be converted into a practical dustpan. Before cutting it, mark it with a ballpoint pen or marker. And remember to keep the handle!

5. Basket for clothespins

A practical solution to avoid losing the tweezers. Cut the bottle roughly in half, make sure you leave room for all the tweezers. Finish off the edges with a fabric that you like, it will add color and prevent you from cutting. The easiest thing is to use glue to fix the fabric.

Finally, make four small holes to put the handles in them,  as in the photograph.
