To do this, we encourage you to try these wonderful infusions to improve nerves naturally and without having to resort to any drug.
Nervousness, a current disease
In the society we live in, it is very common for people to be nervous, in a hurry, anxious or stressed, also depressed or having trouble falling asleep.
The stresses and pressures that we are forced into on a daily basis wreak havoc on our health. Although doctors indicate that a little tension is good for health, the problem lies when that amount exceeds the allowed standards.
There comes a time when it seems that nothing you do (sleep all weekend, go to the country for the day, do yoga, meditate, etc.) is enough.
A change is necessary to regain health and at the same time have more energy, to face daily challenges and obligations without plunging us into a state of so much stress or anxiety that we end up getting seriously ill.
It is one of the best-known anti-anxiety and anti-nervous herbs. It serves to reduce psychosomatic manifestations such as spasms, palpitations, vomiting or insomnia.
- An infusion is prepared with 15 grams of the root of this plant, left to rest overnight and drunk in the morning.
Ulmaria
The essential oils of this plant give it a delicious aroma, but at the same time with sedative properties to calm even the “knots in the stomach” of anguish.
Ulmaria infusion also treats heartburn and ulcers.
- It is prepared with two teaspoons of flowers per cup of water and is drunk three times a day, after eating.
Pitahaya

Basil
This aromatic plant widely used in gastronomy is also an excellent option to improve the nerves and, at the same time, calm the adverse manifestations that occur in the stomach.
- Drink an infusion made with a teaspoon of dried basil leaves per cup of hot water. It is advisable to consume after the main meals.
Lettuce
It is sedative so it is also calming. It helps calm the nerves, helps you sleep better at night and controls heart palpitations.
- A grandmother’s recipe was to place a lettuce leaf in the water where the babies are bathed so that they sleep more relaxed.
- Drink a lettuce leaf tea or consume it as a salad before going to bed. Some say that making a smoothie or juice is also a good option.
Wild rose
Wild rose calms and helps improve nerve associated stomach pains. For example, colic.
- The infusion of wild rose is made with a teaspoon of dried flowers per cup of water. Drink up to two per day.
Chamomile
Another of the “known” herbs with sedative and calming effects to improve the nerves. It reduces tension, inhibits muscle spasms in the stomach and is also analgesic.
- You should prepare a tea with a cup of water and 4 grams of flowers. Let stand 10 minutes. Drink up to 3 cups per day.
All these infusions help us calm and improve the nerves, and allow us to feel better. We hope that some of them help you to achieve it.
