Don’t Count Your Days, Make Your Days Count
Life is a limited journey. Therefore, we do not have time to wait for the mountain to come towards us, we have to go towards it. And it is that, in the end, what matters is not the years of life, but the life of the years. And each of your days counts.
Make your days count
Knowing the way and walking it is very different. We can believe that we know it, or that we are capable of traveling it, but few of us enjoy the true experience of traveling it and contemplating the landscape.
Get up from every fall, study, find the love of your life, look for a good job, get married, have children, work to get them ahead, make them people of 10 and wait for your life to fall asleep. Is this for everyone? Well no.
Do we have to live as we want or as society expects us to? An example, if we ask a player what is the best way to play, he will say that there is not. It depends on the moment, the situation, the position of your opponent, the meaning of each move, the context, etc.
In this sense, the same thing happens with life. Each one lives it as they want, according to their circumstances. There is no ideal life, but moments of excellence.
We are made of fragile dreams that can be broken as easily as we do. There are days that remind us, that make our wounds bleed and hurt.
However, these days last seconds if we compare it to a lifetime. For this, fight for your utopia, for your madness and challenge every moment of your life to make it unique.
Your time is relative, don’t waste it
We are the now and the here, that is the important thing. Time is life and you don’t know how much you have left. It is not about finding meaning in life, but about LIVING being its only meaning.
Let no one tell you how to live your days, because it only makes you free to live your way. We are not in this world to program every moment, but to be free and overturn the conventions that occupy our minds.
Dying is easy, the complicated thing is living
“Today” is the tomorrow you were worrying about. You remember? Difficulties prepare us to head to extraordinary destinations. And it is that life does not have to be easy, but lived.
Sometimes it will be happy, sometimes it will be tough, but with each climb and descent we learn lessons. And each of those teachings makes us stronger.
The path we find will allow us to live with full awareness of our present, to know that we are alive and that our body is in the here and now.
The mountain’s top
The world wants to live on top of the mountain, without knowing that happiness is in the way of climbing it. Walking through it requires the responsibility of those who explore their values and put them into practice. Of those who live respecting their neighbor and laugh when they want to laugh.
Being aware and responsible also means allowing ourselves to cry and not imposing limits on our emotions. The secret to emotional health lies in not regretting the past, not worrying about the future, and not anticipating problems.
The important thing is to live in the present moment, contemplating life with a wise look. Change what you want to change, even if that means you run the risk of failing. Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn, so if you don’t get what you want, at least you are creating baggage.
Protect your emotional health
Society is selfish. Don’t expect others to value what you do or don’t do. Be confident in yourself and in what you build and don’t build castles in the air. Don’t sell yourself smoke. You must appreciate what you have and not want excessively what you do not have.
Do not be afraid to dream, as the mind travels without a ticket. Happiness in life is always having something to do, someone to love, and something to look forward to.
Recharge your batteries and put your heart into everything you do in each of your days. Love yourself above all else and rethink your priorities daily.
Living is an impulse that we need to own. Take a breath, stumble, get in the way of life, get rid of the circumstances and be surprised. Take the risk to live your own life, because the greatest danger is not living it.
