Prepare A Delicious Frozen Oreo Cake

The frozen cake is an ideal dessert or snack, especially in the summer. It is refreshing, it does not need an oven and it is highly appreciated by everyone, especially children, for being made from cookies. In this article we show you how to make the frozen Oreo cake.

We bring you two options, one with liquor, ideal for the older ones. Another with cream for the little ones in the house. Although the liquor content of the recipe is minimal, it is important that if there are children we opt for the non-alcoholic version. Both easy to prepare, with few ingredients and very delicious.

Ingredients for 6 people)

  • 4 cups of whipping cream (1 liter)
  • 1 glass of Cointreau or Grand Marnier liqueur
  • 30 Oreo cookies
  • 9 tablespoons of sugar (180 g)

    Preparation

    • First, crush the cookies and reserve them.
    • Then beat the whipping cream until it begins to thicken. Add the sugar, the liquor and finish beating, being careful not to overdo it so that the butter does not come out.
    • Next, mix a cup and a half of the cream with the cookies. Reserve some cookies to decorate last.
    • Finally, in a removable mold, add a layer of cream, another of cookies mixed with cream, another of cream alone. Do it until you finish with the cream. Decorate with crushed cookies.
    • Put it in the freezer for at least two hours, although it is advisable to keep it longer.

    Ingredients

    • 1 large package of Oreo cookies
    • Whipped cream (quantity required)
    • 1 stick of butter, melted (100 g)
    • 1 liter of ice cream in a tub of the flavor you want

    Preparation

    • Take the ice cream out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to soften it.
    • Next, open the Oreo package and reserve about 12 cookies for decoration.
    • Crush the rest of the cookies with a mortar or put them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
    • Then, in a bowl, place the crushed Oreos and the melted butter and mix well.
    • Place this mixture in the mold, squashing it and kneading it well. Put it in the fridge to harden.
    • After the ice cream is softened, place it in a bowl and stir until it is uniform in consistency.
    • Next, pour the ice cream into the mold on top of the Oreo cookies.
    • Then cover everything with aluminum foil and put it in the freezer.
    • Leave it for about 4 hours or until it hardens enough.
    • After that time, remove from the freezer, remove the aluminum foil and unmold the cake.
    • Cover the sides and the top of the cake with the whipped cream, decorating with the 12 cookies reserved at the beginning.
